09-08 JOHNSON, PINKNEY LEWIS seeking to contact descendants of Pinkney Lewis Johnson, he was born 28 Aug 1859 in Jackson County, TN died 13 Aug 1933 in Morganton, AR. He married Hester Lynn, daughter of William Lynn and Intha Patterson. Hester was born 29 Apr 1866 in Morganton, AR. They are buried in Harding Cemetery Van Buren County, AR. 12-08 CRONK, MELVINA: 1819-1854 Buried in the Roberts Graveyard on Carrs Chapel Road, Putnam County, TN. There is a new headstone installed perhaps 5 years ago along with a footstone saying “grandmother”. We believe she is the namesake for our Melvina Cronk b 1852 d abt 1892 (d/o William Alexander Cronk b 1826 d 1863 and Malissa Roberts Cronk b 1830 d aft 1906). All were in the general vicinity of Silver Point, Laurel Hill and Buffalo Valley. We are interested in any and all information related to Melvina. Hall, (Chester) Arthur: 28 Aug 1888 – 16 Apr 1966. He was the railroad agent at Silver Point, Putnam County, TN. He married Dailey Felina Smith and they had 10 children. Sometime thereafter, it was thought they moved to Indiana. (We have the Jackson County, TN Loose District/Chancery Court Papers Reel #103 court case along with the War of 1812; 1820 Smith County Census; 1830 White County census and the 1836 Jackson County tax roll).
